COVID-19 Update

We are working to make every effort we can to protect our clients, our staff and our community. We are continuously adapting our protocols to ensure we are safely providing necessary support to your pets, our patients.


Please plan ahead and order your refills and food if needed.

We are implementing the following protocols: Updated Protocols (November 2011).


  • 1- We encourage social distancing and the use of masks in the workplace.
  • 2- We are using technology to promote social distancing (e.g., telemedicine and virtual meetings).
  • 3- We are limiting the use of shared spaces.
  • 4- We ask customers who are ill to stay home.
  • 5- We are cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, (e.g., counters, shelving, displays).
  • 6- We have provided our employees with disposable disinfectant wipes, cleaner, or sprays that are effective against the virus that causes COVID-19.
  • 7- We have altered workspaces to maintain social distancing. Examples include:

    • - Move electronic payment reader away from cashier.
    • - Use verbal announcements, signage, and visual cues to promote social distancing.
    • - Remove/rearrange furniture.
    • - Provide remote shopping alternatives (e.g., online pharmacy).
  • 8- It is recommended, depending on the case, you can wait in the car or you can leave the patient as a Drop-Off and we will call you when everything is finished and they are ready to be picked up.
  • 9- Please bring a charged cell phone to ensure communication for recommendations, explanations of findings and any questions you may need to ask.
  • 10- You can send pictures, videos, questions and /or details as a telemedicine services at pets@animalhospitalhollywood.com.
  • 11- The Doctor will call you back and the teleconference time is 20 minutes with the same price as an office visit.
  • 12- Most of the time, food and medications pick-ups will take place curbside, like patient pick up.
  • 13- We will continue to put our best efforts forward to reduce exposure and keep your pets, yourself, and our employees healthy during this time.
